Nomex filter bag made by NOMEX®(Aramid,Kevlar) fiber developed by DuPont, needle nomex filter bag can maintaining high strength and performs at high temperatures, resistance to excoriation, and excellent dimensional stability. Aramid filter bags have excellent dust filter properties and can resist many kinds of chemicals attacks from application in industrial smoke filter and fumes dedust. COX Filter Cloth selects Nomex fiber and the equipments to produce Nomex high temperature resistant needle punched filter felt.
Aramid Filter Bag Feature
Aramid filter bag offer one of the prime frugality in a dust filter system as it’s higher air to cloth ratios, higher temperature capability, and a long wear life. Kevlar filter bags provide depth filtration and have a high solids retention capacity. All of our Nomex Felt filter bags have their outside surface singed or glazed to prevent fabric fibers from the bag getting into the clean, filtered process media.
Nomex filter bags have the highest melting point of all our filter bags except for PTFE filter bags, making it ideal for hot oil and other applications up to 400° F. Nomex Felt is generally compatible with most fluids except those that are strongly alkaline or strongly acidic.
